Billy Crystal doing blackface as Sammy Davis Jr. is still racist even though Sammy Davis Jr. is a real person and not a stereotype in the same way that Michael Scott doing Chris Rock’s comedy verbatim is also racist even though that’s how Chris Rock does his jokes.
